Young people and volunteers at the Cabin

It was a pleasure to join the young people and volunteers to assist them with their celebrations for the Cabin’s 2^nd birthday at the Vyne in Knaphill recently. For the first time the Rose room was used for activities at the Cabin.  An excellent and evidently popular DJ and team of MC’s entertained the young people attending on the night, while the usual pool table, table football and other activities were also available for those wanting a more regular night at the Cabin.

It has been tremendous to see the growth of the Cabin and its local base of volunteers over the last two years and I certainly receive fewer complaints about anti-social behaviour from young people in Knaphill these days, presumably as a result of the excellent work of the Cabin team.
