The Knaphill Community Speed Watch has recently expanded to include some new roads.  One of these is the A322 Bagshot Road.  A few weeks ago I spent an hour with a local resident monitoring the speed of traffic along the road.  We found over 15 vehicles speeding with some travelling over 50 miles an hour.  A few of the vehicles caught were motorbikes.  I have seen a worrying increase in the number of motorbikes appearing to make circuits around Knaphill. A month before I had been with another local resident monitoring the speed of traffic in Redding Way, when we recorded a motorbike travelling at over 65 mph along a 30 mph road.  We will be out again this month and look forward to receiving more support from local residents.
