Multiple requests to clean up the state of the Queen’s Road car park seem to have been going on so long that I think they are almost at the stage of being worth called a saga.  This saga has involved many emails, photos and site visits, but finally the litter is being cleared more frequently, the bushes have been cut back so that all the disabled spaces are entirely usable, the abandoned wooden door and gas canister have been removed.  There is still work to be done, the car park needs to continue to receive this level of treatment and the bushes that have been cut back now need litter picked from them, but we have moved forward.  Below is a collection of pictures showing what has since been improved – one of the bushes that has been cut back, the door that has finally been removed and a bin that is now being emptied more frequently.
